Poetry

A note on poetry
When writing poetry, I draw on my own personal experiences as well as those of others. I also give myself licence to embelish certain details for effect – this is poetry after all, not an autobiography. And sometimes I write in the first person even when the details of the poem are unrelated to my own story.

We do not argue anymores
Vive la résistance!
If you but knew me love
Just dance
You are not marble
You cannot
The measure of a man
My excuse
Double take
April is showerful
We are all beginners
Salute
The gift
A silly running belt
Old dusty guitars
